TIM WALKER

Apr 19, 2014

If I had one chance to work with any photographer in the world it would be Tim walker without a doubt!
Have you seen his work!!@@#!!#$

For those who are unfamiliar with his Tim Walkers work, just think of your childhood brought to reality.

Even his black and white work is done so effortlessly; yet leaves such an impact and state of jealousy.

And lets not mention his latest work....

Building the Perfect Team

Jan 26, 2014

I have been so blessed to work with some of the most talented individuals. Amongst them was the 4 that helped bring this shoot to life.

Model: SIAN(Elite Model Management)
Makeup: JENNIFER BALANCED (Balancedbeaute)
Stylist: NATASHA ROBINSON ( StyleMe Rouge)
Videographer: STEVE SENGA ( My boyfriend)

When planning for a fashion shoot, you have to keep in mind the creative team is just as important as the photographer.

1. Create a Moodboard
-Include all the important details( i.e where, when, time) and provide samples of what your vision is for the overall look
Here is a sample of this shoots moodboard

2. Cast your models wisely
- If you are just starting out and do not have the option to do that, aim for more than one choices so you can see which better suits your vision

3. Visit your location before hand, or check the sites to try and get as much information as to how the hotel is, and what problems(if any) that you may come across

4. Pay attention to details
- The worse thing is having a photo that looks amazing then there is something horrible in the background, I know, I have done it

5. Work with your team, not against them. Although this is your vision, it is also everyones talents being included so work together, don't be judgemental and have fun

Here is a behind the scenes video of "Vanity"... ENJOY

Photographers Overdose

Jan 25, 2014

Following my previous post about staying inspired, I figured it would only make sense to post some of my favourite photographers and where I get a lot of my inspiration. Although I consistently pull inspiration from everywhere, I continue to return to 3 main photographers that keeps me high and overdosed with creativity.

1. Tim Walker
-A walking storyteller and definitely my memory down childhood lane

2. Zhang Jingna

3. Lara Jade
-Being so young yet so successful consistently reminds me that anything is possible

Who is your inspiration?
